Overview

In this article, we cover how you can have a client pay their invoice via credit card or eCheck simply by sharing it with them.

Please note that in order to use this, you will need to have a LawPay account and the LawPay Integration active.

Sharing the Invoice

In order to send the invoice to your client for them to make the payment, you would have to create an invoice first.

Once your invoice is created, you can either send it to them via an email invitation or by sharing it to their client portal. If you would like to share it to the Client Portal for them to view the invoice and pay, you can learn how to do so here.

First, you will want to open the Invoice. There, you will simply need to click the Share button and choose the option to Send.

Here, you are able to choose whether you would like to send the invoice for payment to the client via Email or SMS Text Message.

You are also able to set reminders for payment, which will be sent out until the invoice is paid in full or reminders turned off.

If you are interested in how this will appear for your client, you can click here to learn more.
