By default, PDFs in Docketwise are editable after you print them. This is handy in case you want to make some last-minute changes after printing the form (even though those changes won't be saved to Docketwise).

Depending on what you need to accomplish, you may need to download forms as either an editable or non-editable PDF.

Let's say that you want to have the ability to make edits on a PDF after downloading it from Docketwise. In this case, you will want to download the editable PDF.

On the other hand, if you want to send your client forms to review, you may want to send them a non-editable PDF to ensure no changes are made.

To access this option to toggle on/off downloading printing forms as an editable or non-editable PDF, you will want to navigate to Settings > Print Settings.

Here, simply select or unselect the box to Print Editable PDF and save your changes.

Once this option is selected or unselected and, you're good to go.

Note: This is a global setting, so if you want to revert those changes, you should navigate back to Account Settings and check/uncheck the box again.

If you do not know how to continue from here to download the form, we recommend you review our step-by-step guide by clicking here.
