Docketwise provides instantaneous status information based on the Petition's/Application's USCIS receipt number(s).
In addition to being able to track the status in real-time, you are also able to share the Receipt Number Tracking information with your clients via the client portal.

Adding a Receipt Number
To track the status of petition or application filed with USCIS in real time, you will need to follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Matter related to the USCIS Receipt(s) received
From the Matter's Overview Page click the Case Tracking tab
Click the + Add Receipt button
Enter the USCIS Receipt Number as it appears on the Receipt Notice
Indicate the Form to which the USCIS Receipt Number is associated under Description* (Optional)
Click the Add Receipt button
Tracking a Petition's/Application's Status with USCIS
Once a USCIS Receipt Number is entered, you are able to track its progress from the Matter Overview Page or on the Contact Overview Page of the Matter's Primary Contact.
From within the Case Tracking tab of the Matter Overview Page or the Contact Overview Page for the Matter's Primary Contact, you can see the real time status of the Petition's/Application's status with USCIS.
Additionally, you are able to click on the linked text under the Case Status to be taken to USCIS's Case Status website for this particular receipt notice's status. There, you are able to see the date that USCIS updated its status and additional details.

Sharing USCIS Receipt Number Tracking to a Client's Portal
First, we need to make sure that the client is set up with access to their Client Portal. If you have not done so yet, click here to learn more about creating a Client Portal for your client.
In order to share Receipt Number Tracking, you will need to follow the steps below:
Navigate to your Matter's Overview Page (or the Contact Overview Page of the Matter's Primacy Contact)
Click the Case Tracking tab
Click the Share icon to the right for the receipt number for the case tracking status that you would like to share
In this dialogue box, make sure that you have selected the correct client, then click the Submit button
